Junior Beta Club is an organization that stresses Leadership, Achievement, Service, and Character. Our members consist of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who work diligently to maintain an overall average of 3.0 or above and receive no more than 2 infractions per quarter. Students in Beta Club are invited to be a part of this organization. We meet monthly to discuss events in Beta Club and also serve our community through Service Projects.

4-H empowers young people to lead for a lifetime. 4-H members devote much of their time to community service. Members learn by doing. They keep records, make oral presentations, develop management and communication skills, and gain an understanding of citizenship responsibilities. Students complete hands-on projects in areas of science, health, agriculture, and citizenship. Club members participate in district activities, including Achievement Day. Students can concentrate on one focus area or they can try a variety of programs.

Youth Legislature gives students a chance to role play the job of a representative in Louisiana State government. Students create ideas for laws, vet them within a committee of their peers and ultimately write and debate bills. Public speaking, persuasion, and debating are required to be successful in the club. The club travels to Baton Rouge and participates in a State conference where students get to debate their bills against students from across Louisiana.

Interested in making a difference? Because Panther Care is a service learning club. Club members will work to identify needs in their community and find ways to meet these needs. Students will get to see how they can make a difference in their world.
